Celebrity Morning Recital Ambleside Parish Church Patrick Demenga (cello) & Carole Presland (piano) These acclaimed artists form a new partnership for this celebrity recital. The great German traditions of Beethoven and Brahms are followed by the subtleties and colours of the twentieth century French school with Dutilleux's great solo work appearing in the Festival for the first time.

RISING STARS: Håkan Vramsmo (baritone) Ambleside Parish Church With Susie Summers (piano) A prize winner at major international competitions, HÃ¥kan has appeared at the BBC Proms, worked with orchestras throughout Europe and appeared at many festivals. He fulfils operatic roles and recitals with equal distinction. Susie has previously appeared as a LDSM Young Artist. A graduate of both Cambridge University and the Royal Academy of Music, her specialism is chamber music and accompaniment where she is much in demand throughout the UK. Programme includes SCHUMANN's Dichterliebe, plus songs by SCHUBERT, GRIEG and FINZI. |

Arnaldo Cohen (piano) Ambleside Parish Church A great pianist returns to LDSM The Brazilian-born pianist Arnaldo Cohen will be remembered by LDSM audiences not only for his superlative technical command but also for the deeply stirring nobility of his playing.
