Škampa Quartet Ambleside Parish Church With Garfield Jackson (viola) & Patrick Demenga (cello) The Škampa Quartet of Prague is recognised as one of today's most exciting string quartets. Their performances receive consistent and enthusiastic acclaim for their technical mastery and interpretive sensitivity. The quartet is joined by two distinguished artists, Garfield Jackson and Patrick Demenga, in one of Brahms's greatest chamber music works.

Serenade by Candlelight Ambleside Parish Church
LDSM Young Artists The traditional Serenade Concert, given this year in memory of Spencer Crookenden CBE MC, brings to an end Summer School 2007. This prestigious concert gives all an opportunity to hear the soloists, duos and larger ensembles who have attended the Summer School and worked intensively with Festival artists and professors. The Chilingirian Quartet and Garfield Jackson lead a massed performance of the Intermezzo and Adagio of Bruckner's String Quintet in F. Supported by Mr and Mrs Harold Lefton |
