Building on the success of LDSM’s community choral project as part of the 2007 International Festival, LDSM has invited two fine Cumbrian chamber choruses to explore Motets from Bach to the present day. In this first concert, Pro Nobis – directed by early music specialist Clive Walkley – are joined by soprano Evelyn Tubb on whose performance Opera magazine commented "pure pitch, …, definite notes and fluent divisions, bold graces and adornments that ring out freely."
