The second of two concerts exploring Motets from Bach to the present day. The choir is drawn from across the north of England and southern Scotland and is conducted by their new Director of Music, Edward Caswell, whose experience as a singer includes work with the Monteverdi Choir, BBC Singers and as a member of English National Opera. With a performance which includes the English premieres of the two James MacMillan works this programme is sure to be a concert for choral enthusiasts.
