Young String Venture Masterclass
The Sam Forrester Masterclass
Quartets and ensembles drawn from the Young String Venture will be invited to participate in this masterclass programme. Directed by Japanese violinist Takako Yamasaki, the masterclass will provide unique additional opportunity for YSV pupils and their parents to gain further insight into how to develop the talents of young musicians.
Festival Masterclass Series
YSV students are encouraged to attend as many of the Masterclasses that form part of the International Summer School and Festival programme held at the University of Cumbria Ambleside Campus. Conducted by leading international professionals these give insight into the training of young professional musicians and are of enormous value to younger players and audiences alike.
