Lake District Summer Music is the "widest spread music festival in the UK".
One of LDSM’s distinctive features is its location – “the festival painted on the canvas of the Lake District”. We use concert halls, historic churches, theatres, Town Halls and Community Halls. As the “widest spread Festival in the UK”, LDSM reaches venues from Kirkby Lonsdale to Penrith, Keswick to Ulverston, spanning out from the core centre in Ambleside, Windermere and Kendal.
